Second Title for Benilde 

The men’s division kicked off the finals’ volleyball action, featuring Benilde Blazing Spikers facing the Mapua Cardinals. Both teams delivered a tightly contested battle and traded points in critical runs, bringing more pressure and tension throughout the game. 

The game saw Benilde’s dominance, securing the championship title after sweeping three sets against Mapua, 25-23, 25-18, 25-21. This marked their second overall title since their first win back in 2017. Moreover, Benilde’s Reymark Betco was recognized as the Finals MVP while Arnold Laniog was named Coach of the Year. 

Letran’s Win After 28 Years 

After the men’s game, the action intensified as the spotlight shifted to the women’s division, with the Letran Lady Knights competing against the reigning champion Benilde Lady Spikers. 

After a thrilling five-set match, Letran successfully defeated Benilde with final scores of 15-25, 25-17, 26-24, 17-25, and 15-12, clinching their title since 1998. This victory also put an end to Benilde’s push for a five-peat championship. Marie Judiel Nitura of Letran Lady Knights led the charge with her standout clutch performances in the three-game series, declaring her the Finals MVP. 

With the title decided on Season 101, the competition is far from over. The focus now shifts forward, as volleyball teams prepare for the next season and another run for supremacy.
