After the two intense weeks of competition, Turkish squad S2G Esports came out on top as the newly crowned champions at the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026.
How S2G Conquered
Teams went through three phases: Group Stage, Survival Stage, and the much-awaited Grand Finals that brought an added twist called the Smash Rule. Throughout the competition, S2G remained composed in scoring their points to outmatch their rivals.
During the Grand Finals, the team had a delayed start on Day 1 after Thailand’s eArena led with 48 points and one Chicken Dinner, while the Turkish side placed 9th in the standings. S2G mounted a comeback on Day 2, highlighted by a commanding 15-elimination Chicken Dinner in Match 8 and top-three finishes in Matches 10-12.
S2G dropped early in the final match after not securing a Chicken Dinner (WWCD) to end the tournament despite holding a massive 154 points. Meanwhile, the remaining teams could not find their way to surpass the 154-point haul, allowing S2G to win the tournament.
The team sustained consistency across the competition, earning high points that were hard to surpass. The champions collected a total of 154 points, consisting of 89 elimination points and 65 placement points with 3 WWCDs.

With S2G claiming the championship, Nongshim Redforce came in second with 149 points and 3 WWCDs, followed by Aurora Gaming in third place with 146 points and 2 WWCDs. Meanwhile, the Grand Finals MVP went to Tianba’s Qzz for an outstanding campaign in the tournament.
After winning, S2G Esports sealed their spots at the year-end 2026 PUBG Mobile Global Championship, aiming to carry momentum onto another global PUBG stage.
