Elite gaming teams from across the Asia Pacific region came together to compete at the Asia Pacific Predator League in January 2026, held in New Delhi, India. The two-day tournament spotlighted national champions and rising contenders battling for premier titles, particularly in DOTA 2 and Valorant.

The Daunting Showdown in DOTA 2

The DOTA division featured intense matchups as teams battled for supremacy. The tournament saw an impressive run of participating teams from the early stages of the game up to the intense semifinals.

Filipino team Interactive Philippines ranked third, followed by Atlantis 2.0 of Malaysia in fourth. Both showcased strategic plays and competitive grit throughout their game despite losing prior to the final rounds, highlighting their strengths and growing prominence in the Southeast Asian stage.

In the 2-1 grueling finals showdown, Myth Avenue Gaming of Malaysia emerged victorious in the competition, lifting the Predator Shield and claiming USD 65,000 after a hard-fought match against Rekonix of Indonesia. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) award went to egxrdemxn of Myth Avenue for the remarkable performance in the game.

Final Shots to Valorant Victory

The Predator League showcased the fierce competition and electrifying action among top Valorant teams in the region. Fancy United Esports of Vietnam seemed unstoppable until the final round with their precise attacks and smart playstyles.

They dominated 2-0 over BOOM Esports, crowning them as the 2026 APAC champions in Valorant. Fancy United’s player, Twilight, also earned the MVP award for the incredible gameplay across the series, which led the team to victory.

Meanwhile, Xipto Esports from the Philippines also shocked the esports world with their strategic plays during the semifinals. The Filipino team narrowly missed the finals, securing the second runner-up honors alongside IAM from South Korea.

The Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 wrapped up on a high note with two outstanding teams. The triumph of both champions not only reinforced their status as regional gaming powerhouses in the DOTA and Valorant scenes but also defined the whole tournament.
