The 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) has kicked off strong with a mix of newcomers, returning favorites, and players distributed across teams, fueling more tension and competitiveness in the season.

After the major player exits and team resets during the PVL offseason, 10 volleyball squads, supported by a new lineup of players, are shaking up the league to make another deep run in the new season of the PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Game-changing Signings

Choco Mucho, Creamline, Cignal, and PLDT maintained their strong cores while adding new talent to their roster. Farm Fresh, Nxled, and Galeries Tower showcased their revamped lineups after a busy offseason. Akari, Capital1, and ZUS Coffee also built their teams with their key additions, promising tighter matchups and a more competitive league.

Choco Mucho Flying Titans strengthened the squad with the return of star player Eya Laure, alongside Alina Bacar, Jaila Atienza, and Caitlin Viray. Creamline Cool Smashers also welcomed Jen Nierva, while PLDT High Speed Hitters has Seth Rodriguez as their new member. Ivy Perez also joined as a significant addition to the Cignal Super Spikers.

While Akari Chargers saw departures of their talents during the previous season, four new players joined the team to bring new energy and charge the game with action, particularly Mary Rhose Dapol, Baby Jyne Soreño, Cza Carandang, and Judith Abil.

Zus Coffee Thunderbelles also welcomed their new additions to the team, including longtime standouts Rachel Daquis and Chie Saet, along with fresh talents Cess Robles, Karen Verdeflor, and Renee Peñafiel.

The Capital1 Solar Spikers are heading into the season with an exciting blend of players such as Cherry Nunag, France Ronquillo, Ysa Jimenez, Rachel Jorvina, and Ezra Madrigal. Following the disbandment of Chery Tiggo Crossovers, Pauline Gaston, Shaya Adorador, and Jas Nabor have also signed to Capital1.

Revamped for Glory

Farm Fresh Foxies underwent a major roster overhaul, featuring notable players joining the team, such as star spiker Ara Galang, Mylene Paat, Remy Palma, Imee Hernandez, Bia General, and Royse Tubino.

New signings marked the complete refresh for the Galeries Tower Highrisers. The team consists of Maji Mangulabnan, Venice Puzon, Gayle Pascual, Aiza Pontillas, Jules Samonte, Shola Alvarez, Cams Victoria, Sharya Ancheta, Dolly Versoza, Erika Deloria, Lycha Ebon, Julia Angeles, Blove Barbon, and Erika Raagas.

Nxled Chameleons entered the season after a significant revamp as they feature a star-studded lineup, headlined by the elite cores from Petro Gazz. They are now joined by the three-time league MVP Brooke Van Sickle, two-time Finals MVP Myla Pablo, veteran standouts MJ Philips and Aby Maraño, along with high-caliber players Jules Tolentino, Antonette Adolfo, Joyme Cagande, Bang Pineda, Jellie Tempiatura, Ranya Musa, Nicole Tiamzon, Djanel Cheng, Aduke Ogusanya, and Jonah Sabete.

The huge roster resets and recruitment of new players add an intriguing layer to the competition. As PVL 2026 continues, all eyes are now on the future matches to see how these lineups perform on the court and how they would shape the team dynamics and the overall season as the games progress.
