San Miguel Beermen reclaimed the championship after outlasting TNT Tropang 5G during the crown-claiming Game 6 of the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup.

The team closed out the series at 4-2, marking their second consecutive win and 31st overall championship title in league history. The sixth and final game of the season was played at the Mall of Asia Arena last February 1, 2026.

From Tip-off to Triumph

The Beermen came out aggressively from the start and mounted an impressive first quarter with 26-10. TNT Tropang 5G was able to outpace SMB in Q2 and Q3, where they eventually took the lead with 29 points in both quarters. Calvin Oftana dominated the period and became the standout scorer of TNT, finishing the game with a total of 28 points, along with seven rebounds and five assists.

In the fourth quarter, the Beermen bounced back and stunned the opposing team. They ended the game with a decisive score of 92-77 and finally secured the victory once again.

June Mar Fajardo led the charge throughout the final game with a massive 29 points and 23 rebounds. CJ Perez also contributed to their win, adding 19 points, four rebounds, and seven assists to the game. Other key players from the team made a significant impact on the triumph with their outstanding plays and clutch performances.

Another Milestone for SMB

Following their success, the San Miguel Beermen has remained the most decorated franchise in the PBA. June Mar Fajardo also received the first-ever Ramon Fernandez PBA Finals MVP award, making him a 12-time PBA champion and a five-time Finals MVP.

This win further reinforced the sustained excellence of San Miguel Beermen, while highlighting their consistent dominance in Philippine basketball.
